The Pomeroy Pirates held off the host Garfield-Palouse Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakesdale for a 1B Southeast - East test on Thursday, October 5.
The Vikings (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Tekoa-Rosalia (Tekoa, WA). The Timberwolves enter the 1B Southeast - East test with a 1-4 record.
