The George Washington Eagles volleyball team (Danville, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA)

The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bengals enter the Piedmont challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Bassett defeated Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Thursday, October 5. George Washington will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA).
