Gibbs Gladiators (St. Petersburg, FL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Lakewood Spartans (St. Petersburg, FL), 3-0 in a non-league game.

The Gladiators now possess a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tarpon Springs for a non-league game on Monday, October 9. Gibbs will meet a Spongers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Countryside (Clearwater, FL). The Spongers record now stands at 0-12.

The Spartans (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL). The Royals enter the 5A District 10 game with a 3-9 record.
