The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Gompers Prep Academy Eagles (San Diego, CA) and the host Health Sciences Surgeons (San Diego, CA), saw Gompers Prep Academy's volleyball squad nip Health Sciences by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Gompers Prep Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Eagles host School for Entrepreneurship & Technology (San Diego, CA) to play the Lions in a Frontier - Pioneer bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-12.

The Surgeons now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Preuss UCSD for a Frontier- Sierra bout on Thursday, October 5.
