Illinois High School Volleyball - Richmond-Burton over Grant Community

October 3, 2023: Fox Lake, IL 60020

The Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) volleyball overcame the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Richmond-Burton upgrades its record to 20-5 on the year. The Rockets host Sandwich (Sandwich, IL) to play the Indians in a Interstate Eight outing on Wednesday, October 4. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 4-20. Sandwich won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Harvard (Harvard, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Antioch for a Northern Lake County outing on Thursday, October 5. Grant Community will play a Sequoits squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Sequoits record now stands at 13-18.
