The Palatka Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hawthorne Hornets to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 4. Palatka will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-7.

The Hornets (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Saint Francis Catholic (Gainesville, FL). The Wolves enter the non-league game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Saint Francis Catholic was dropped by Trenton (Trenton, FL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
