The Highlands Highlanders topped the host Nantahala Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Highlanders now have a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hiwassee Dam for a Little Smoky Mountain 1A test on Thursday, October 5. Highlands will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-12.

The Hawks (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats enter the Little Smoky Mountain 1A test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Blue Ridge Early College was knocked off by Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC), 3-0, in a league test.
