The Raritan Rockets volleyball team (Hazlet, NJ), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ)

The Hornets (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Bucs enter the Shore B - North challenge with a 1-3 record.

Next, the Rockets meet the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) in a Shore B - North challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Raritan will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.
