North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes over Pasquotank County

October 3, 2023: Edenton, NC 27932

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the visiting Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Holmes's volleyball squad beat Pasquotank County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Holmes upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Aces travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to play the Knights in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, October 5. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Currituck County lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Manteo (Manteo, NC)

The Panthers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Albemarle School for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 4. Pasquotank County will play a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC). The Colts record now stands at 17-2.
