The Huskies (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors enter the Mission Valley challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Mission San Jose went down by James Logan (Union City, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Irvington will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA).
