The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornell (Cornell, WI). The Chiefs enter the Lakeland - East challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Cornell nipped Bruce (Bruce, WI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains meet the Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI) in a Lakeland - East challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Lake Holcombe will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Flambeau (Tony, WI).
