Texas High School Volleyball - McAllen Memorial nudged by McAllen

October 3, 2023: McAllen, TX 78501

The McAllen Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting McAllen Memorial Mustangs to 2 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 30-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer for a 5A Region IV District 31 game on Saturday, October 7. McAllen will meet a Diamondbacks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 33-4.

The Mustangs (26-15) will now prepare for their game against Sharyland (Mission, TX). The Rattlers enter the 5A Region IV District 31 game with a 37-1 record. In their last game, Sharyland nipped Vela (Edinburg, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
