The Ness City Eagles held off the host Otis-Bison Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thunder Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Ness City will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sylvan-Lucas (Sylvan Grove, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-15.
The Cougars (13-15) will now prepare for their test against Kinsley (Kinsley, KS). The Coyotes enter the non-league test with a 7-17 record. In their last test, Kinsley Stafford (Stafford, KS), 0-0, in a non-league test.
