North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wilson Prep tips Northwest Halifax

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), saw Wilson Prep's volleyball squad nip Northwest Halifax by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Wilson Prep upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC) to play the Pride in a Tar Roanoke 1A bout on Thursday, October 5. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 3-8. KIPP Pride lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Northampton County (Gaston, NC)

The Vikings now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Edgecombe for a Tar Roanoke 1A bout on Tuesday, October 10. Northwest Halifax will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
