The Norton Panthers topped the host Springfield Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cloverleaf for a Portage Trail - Metro test on Thursday, October 5. Norton will confront a Colts team coming off a 3-1 league win over Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Colts record now stands at 11-6.

The Spartans (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Ravenna (Ravenna, OH). The Ravens enter the Portage Trail - Metro test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Ravenna was knocked off by Coventry (Akron, OH), 3-0, in a league test.
