The Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets volleyball team (Blythe, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA)

The Eagles (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Hornets enter the Desert challenge with a 8-8 record. In their last challenge, Calipatria defeated Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Desert challenge, on Thursday, October 5. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to move on its 5-16 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Calipatria (Calipatria, CA).
