The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) and the host Piarist Knights (Martin, KY), saw Pike County Central's volleyball squad nip Piarist by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, Pike County Central upgrades its record to 10-14 on the year. The Hawks host East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-12. East Ridge lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY)

The Knights now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Jenkins for a non-league bout on Friday, October 6.
