The Rainier Columbians volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Yamhill-Carlton Tigers to 2 in the Columbians league victory on Tuesday.

The Columbians now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a 3A Coastal Range game on Thursday, October 5. Rainier will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Corbett (Corbett, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-10.

The Tigers (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Banks (Banks, OR). The Braves enter the 3A Coastal Range game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Banks held off Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
