In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Wagener-Salley War Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans.
The War Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Midland Valley lost by Aiken (Aiken, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) in a A Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Ridge Spring-Monetta will attempt to advance on its 13-3 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Williston-Elko (Williston, SC).
