The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) and the host South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), saw West Potomac's volleyball squad nip South County by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, West Potomac upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Patriot bout on Thursday, October 5. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Woodson won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)

The Stallions now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfax for a Patriot bout on Thursday, October 5. South County will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Lions record now stands at 5-4.
