The Fighting Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Talladega County Central lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL)

The Tigers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Munford for a 4A Area 8 bout on Thursday, October 5. Talladega will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Piedmont (Piedmont, AL). The Lions record now stands at 19-12.
