In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Colonial Heights Colonials volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Matoaca Warriors.

The Colonials (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals come into the Central challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Prince George beat Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Matoaca will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
