In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Prince George Royals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Dinwiddie Generals.

The Royals (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Varina was nudged by Henrico (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Generals battle the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a Central contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Dinwiddie will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA).
