The Hawks (11-0) will now prepare for their contest against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils enter the Capital contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Varina fell by Henrico (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Mechanicsville drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Godwin (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, October 7. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Godwin lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
