The Phoebus Phantoms volleyball squad (Hampton, VA), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA)

With the win, Heritage improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA) to encounter the Truckers in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Truckers go into the battle with a record of 5-8. Churchland lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Norview (Norfolk, VA)

The Phantoms now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a Peninsula battle on Tuesday, October 8.
