The Jefferson Mustangs got by the host Burbank Bulldogs football team by a score of 7-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Highlands (San Antonio, TX). The Owls go into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Highlands was edged by Lanier (San Antonio, TX), 36-0, in a league challenge.
