The Reno Huskies got by the visiting Spanish Springs Cougars football team by a score of 19-14 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Reno will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Miners go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 28-2 league win over Reed (Sparks, NV).
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McQueen (Reno, NV). The Lancers go into the challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, McQueen nipped Douglas (Minden, NV), 42-20, in a league challenge.
