The Lexington Wildcats felled the host Gilbert Indians football team by a score of 42-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Irmo Yellow Jackets (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Dorman (Roebuck, SC).
The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.
