In Thursday's non-league test, the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO), by a tally of 14-0.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 4. Pueblo County will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Thunder go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO).
The Colts (5-5) will now prepare for their test against La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, La Junta prevailed over Lamar (Lamar, CO), 7-3, in a league test.
