The Cox Mill Chargers edged the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Chargers confront the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 8. Cox Mill will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the game with a 4-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their game against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, South Iredell nudged A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
