In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Midway Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes.
The Raiders (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, Princeton beat Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Tornadoes meet the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Fairmont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
