In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host West Craven Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Greene Central Rams.
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Pitt (Bethel, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, North Pitt was nudged by Washington (Washington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Greene Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Camden County (Camden, NC).
