In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting La Salle Lightning volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Kittitas Coyotes.

The Lightning (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Goldendale (Goldendale, WA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Goldendale beat Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes meet the Highland Scots (Cowiche, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Kittitas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA).
