Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) and the visiting Sparta Bulldogs (Sparta, IL), observed Wesclin's volleyball team top Sparta by a tally of 2-0.

The Warriors (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Althoff Catholic beat Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians (Carlyle, IL) in a contest, on Thursday, October 10. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
