The Blackhawks now have a 4-11 record. They play next when they host North Wilkes for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. West Wilkes will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Wilkes Central drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 12-5. East Surry lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Forbush (East Bend, NC)
