Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Calloway County advances its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Lakers host Mayfield (Mayfield, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a District 2 test on Wednesday, October 9. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 5-9.

The Tigers now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopkins County Central for a District 7 test on Monday, October 7. Caldwell County will clash with a Storm team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY). The Storm record now stands at 6-6.
