Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) and the host Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Canon-McMillan's soccer squad nudge Mt. Lebanon by a margin of 1-0.

The Big Macs now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Connellsville for a WPIAL AAAA 2 bout on Tuesday, October 8. Canon-McMillan will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Mt. Lebanon moves to 8-7 on the year. The Blue devils host Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA) to encounter the Black Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 5. The Black Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Bethel Park won 6-0 in their recent league bout against Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA)
