In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars.
The Swordsmen (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Tawas Area prevailed over McBain (McBain, MI), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 4. Crossroads Charter Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 2-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI).
