In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Green Hope Falcons.
The Golden Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps go into the Southwest Wake 4A outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Cary was edged by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 4-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Falcons play the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A outing, on Tuesday, October 8. Green Hope will attempt to improve on its 14-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 8-3 record after their 2-2 league Green Level (Cary, NC).
