Fans at Thursday's league battle between the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) and the host Malden Catholic Lancers (Malden, MA), saw St. John's's soccer squad prevail over Malden Catholic by a count of 4-0.

The Pioneers (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Algonquin Regional tipped Leominster (Leominster, MA), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lancers confront the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) in a Catholic battle, on Tuesday, October 8. Malden Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
