Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Piedmont Community Charter advances its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC) to clash with the Gryphons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. The Gryphons come into the test with a record of 11-1.

The Wildcats now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carolina International for a Metro Eight 1A test on Friday, October 4. Sugar Creek will clash with a Comets team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Comets record now stands at 2-4.
