The Catamounts (7-15) will now prepare for their match against Cass (White, GA). The Colonels come into the 4A Region 7 match with a 15-9 record. In their last match, Cass by Allatoona (Acworth, GA), 5-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) in a 4A Region 7 match, on Tuesday, October 8. Cedartown will attempt to better on its 16-11 season record. The Hurricanes come into the match with a 20-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Allatoona (Acworth, GA).
