East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, East Forsyth upgrades its record to 18-4 on the year. The Broncos host North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 9. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 16-10.

The Eagles now own a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a 4A Region 8 game on Friday, October 4. Eastside will play a Warriors squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-13.
