The Ola Mustangs triumphed over the host Jones County Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Ola will attempt to upgrade on its 23-4 season record. The Grangers enter the challenge with a 17-8 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).

The Greyhounds (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 18-9 record. In their last challenge, Houston County topped Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 16-5, in a league contest.
