In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Mexico Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Moberly Spartans.

The Bulldogs (11-13) will now prepare for their match against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 20-9 record. In their last match, Southern Boone notched a victory over Father Tolton (Columbia, MO), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Fulton Hornets (Fulton, MO) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 7. Moberly will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Hornets come into the match with a 14-8 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO).
