Georgia High School Softball - Monroe Area bounces West Hall

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the West Hall Spartans.
The Purple Hurricanes (19-8) will now prepare for their match against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears come into the 3A Region 8 match with a 19-6 record. In their last match, Cherokee Bluff was routed by Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 2-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 7. West Hall will attempt to better on its 5-22 season record. The War Eagles come into the match with a 3-21 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to West Hall (Oakwood, GA).
