The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) and the host Navajo Indians (Altus, OK), observed Ripley's softball team get by Navajo by a tally of 3-2.

The Warriors (22-14) will now prepare for their bout against Sterling (Sterling, OK). The Tigers go into the Class A bout with a 22-8 record. In their last bout, Sterling tipped Wilson (Wilson, OK), 9-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK) in a Class A bout, on Friday, October 4. Navajo will attempt to advance on its 26-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 22-8 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Wilson (Wilson, OK).
