In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting North Shelby Raiders softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the South Shelby Cardinals.

The Raiders (12-6) will now prepare for their match against Atlanta (Atlanta, MO). The Hornets come into the Class 1 District 10 match with a 5-12 record. In their last match, Atlanta was routed by Sturgeon (Sturgeon, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Sturgeon Bulldogs (Sturgeon, MO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 5. South Shelby will attempt to better on its 15-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-13 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Glasgow (Glasgow, MO).
