The Summit Christian Academy Eagles volleyball squad (Lee's Summit, MO), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Adrian Blackhawks (Adrian, MO)

With the win, Adrian improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Santa Fe (Alma, MO) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 5. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 10-5. Santa Fe won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sacred Heart (Sedalia, MO)

The Eagles now own a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Michael the Archangel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 8.
