North Carolina High School Volleyball - Highland Tech over Bessemer City

The Highland Tech Rams volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, October 8. Highland Tech will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Bessemer City drops to 0-15 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 4. The Ironmen come into the outing with a record of 12-6. Cherryville lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
